Becky and Olly are two UoB students with a passion for music, with Becky specialising in classical compositions and musical directing and Olly producing contemporary music with his Indie Rock band. Each week the pair decide on a ‘Big Picture‘ topic – concerning subjects such as mental health, masculinity feminism, etc – and discuss them in their musical context. They consider social issues / political movements and the role specific songs have had in their development – doing so in a relaxed and comical manner, often trailing into unlikely tangents. After a successful first semester, the two are eager to get back to their favourite hour of the week.
