Burn is back in 2017 and applications for Spring Term shows are now open and we can’t wait to get started on another term of great radio.
The applications are live now – if you would like to host your own show or be involved with Burn FM in any way with either our Production/Tech team or any of our journalism teams then we would love to hear from you!
To apply, simply download and complete the form below – then get it back to the relevant departments. You have to get your applications in by Tuesday January 10th – so there’s no time to waste! Get your applications in ASAP!
The form is slightly different from last term when we give our descriptions of both mainstream and specialist shows so make sure you read through the whole application carefully before deciding which type of show to apply for.
Also this semester we will be reintroducing The Discovery Show – where anyone can host a one off show on a topic close to their heart and talk about it on the airwaves for an hour! We will also be introducing a new show called Burn Under the Radar, aimed at minority groups and students within the University of Birmingham to host a show talking about and playing music related to their culture.
