Part of Warwards Lane has been closed off today as police continue to investigate an allegation that a man was shot at in the early hours of this morning.
This is in response to a 999 call that was made by an alarmed member of the public just before 1:15am claiming that a shooting had taken place.
West Midlands Police Chief Inspector Dean Hatton said that: ‘No-one has been injured and the area is cordoned off whilst officers continue to investigate the allegation. Police are working hard to reduce disruption to the public’.
The investigation has resulted in the taping off of the area of the street between Raddlebarn Road and Milner Road.
