Sinead Harnett is a London-based singer, born to a Thai mother and Irish father. She never thought a career in music was a possibility, but she’s proved herself wrong – with style. Her vocal is silky but powerful, and matched with a chill-out, old-school R’n’B style, Harnett produces an individual, sophisticated and exciting sound. With such a unique musical groove and cheekbones to die for, her upcoming album is set to be huge.
Harnett has just finished a tour supporting Sigma, and before that Gorgon City, and has featured on the insanely catchy track ‘Baby’ with Rudimental. The new single ‘She Ain’t Me’ is a confident and effortlessly cool statement – one you won’t be able to stop listening to. It’s out June 7th, with a highly anticipated album to follow. Listen to the interview below where Sinead talks about her upcoming release, who she is as an artist, and what she does to chill out.
