On Friday 6th February, seven different venues around the country will be holding a simultaneous Jam Night, which by the way is FREE ENTRY (for all you music fans on a budget!). Meet and Jam is a new nationwide music networking event which aims to bring groups of musicians together all in one place, for live collaborations and a night of great music.
There will be a house band playing loads of well known songs that practically everyone will know – just bring along an instrument and your enthusiasm, and you can get up on stage and jam with them, regardless of whether you’re an amateur or the next Ed Sheeran. Doors are at 7pm, and it’s bound to be an awesome way to spend a Friday night, as well as an excellent way to meet and play with fellow musicians – who knows, this could be the start of something big.
If you’d like to come along as a musician, simply sign up to the Meet and Jam website and join up, and then let them know what songs you’d like the band to play.
