Latitude Festival have just released their 2016 line-up, and it’s looking gooooood! Headlining the 3 day festival in Suffolk are The Maccabees, The National, and New Order – with other main stage acts including Father John Misty, Courtney Barnett, Chvrches and M83. The BBC Radio 6 stage is star-studded this year too, with Grimes, Kurt Vile and the Violators, Of Monsters and Men, and Half Moon Run.
Although most of the music could fall under the ‘indie’ bracket, there’s a real variation, from country and blues like Nathaniel Rateliff and Sturgill Simpson, to electronic-infused pop like Grimes and Chet Faker. Latitude is famous for being family-friendly, too, with play areas for kids and 12+. Other entertainment includes spoken poetry and late night film screenings. The festival looks set to be something for everyone, with an incredible range of bands that people really love, rather than hit-song headliners.
Latitude takes place 14-17th July, and tickets are available here: http://www.latitudefestival.com/tickets
