Greenman Festival has announced its first batch of acts, with Belle & Sebastian, Wild Beasts and James Blake all topping the bill.
The festival set in the stunning Welsh surroundings of the Brecon Beacons is set to take place on August 18-21. Having evolved from a single day event in 2003, the festival in recent years has been critically recognised, having won the Best Festival prize at the 2015 Live Music Business awards. With its literature, comedy, and theatre stages amongst others, all yet to be filled the festival is once again shaping up to be one of the summer’s best.
The 17 stages are still to be finally curated, but the festival will also play host to plenty of smaller delights, such as artisan foods and the Welsh beer and cider festival, as well as a Nature Nurture retreat.
Among the headliners unveiled are Fat White Family, Sunflower Bean, Julia Holter, White Denim and Unknown Mortal Orchestra to name a few.
