It’s the afternoon. An insignificant one, on no particular day, whatever week it is. We’re reasonably sure that it takes place during one of the seasons.
It’s one of those days. No news. No dramatics, no damnations, no distractions. Even the politicians are behaving themselves. No stories to tell today. But there are always stories.
Today’s the day when the little stories are special. The seemingly most frivolous five minutes of someone’s day could contain the moment that fires their life in a completely different direction. Or, it could not.
Either way, this afternoon is probably not important. But let’s take a look anyway, right?
