Jed and Andrew, stars of the universally acclaimed first series of Two Half Men, have been described as “the best comedy duo since shave gel and slippers”, and “a hoot and three quarters”. ‘Obscure World News’ has our heroes update listeners on the most ridiculous news stories we could find that week; whether there’s a man building a homemade rocket to launch himself into space, or a squirrel single-handedly shutting down power for 45,000 Americans, we’ll find it and exchange mild bemusement. ‘A-list playlist’ sees our favourite boys joined by a celebrity guest — who’s definitely there in the studio stop asking about it — for tunes, life stories, and more. In between, we’ll put our collective £54,000 history degrees to the test with quizzes on the past’s biggest idiots; we’ll debunk/become uncomfortably convinced by conspiracy theories and pseudoscience; and we’ll share uneducated opinions on pop culture and movies. Each week we decide the theme for the next episode’s music and stories by spinning The Wheel (claims that The Wheel doesn’t exist and is just us two making clicking noises are slanderous and won’t be tolerated). Regardless of the theme, rest assured Jed will find some way to play Radiohead and Andrew will find some way to complain about it.
