Did you ever hear about the famous bournbrook beach?
No? I wouldn’t worry, it was before your time. Not long ago,
Bournbrook was the beachside capitol of the UK, until a
great storm washed the beach down the River Selly and out
onto open ocean, never to be seen again.
Bournbrook beach, and the beach club atop of it now found
itself on the seven seas – much to the shock of the beach
master on board! In the hopes of someone finding him, he
decided to broadcast his time at sea – and after twisting a few
coat-hangers together & rewiring the karaoke machine in the
bar, he had a working radio broadcasting station.
Now he broadcasts the ongoing adventure at sea, playing the
vast collection of music washed away from selly oak,
sometimes fighting for survival, sometimes enjoying the bliss
of the great unknown. But always interviewing other
castaways lucky enough to wash up at the beach club while
they work on their craft to get home.
Bournbrook beach club is an conversation based around a
central theme, surrounded by a running story element in the
background, using audio cues to tell the story.
