Off air
We sometimes go off air when we're working on an update behind the scenes or if it's a holiday. Whilst we're having a break, why not check out our podcasts for a little easy listening?
Coming up
That's it for now!
Our schedule is empty, but check back later for new shows to come!
About us
BurnFM runs thanks to its dedicated committee members. Find out a little more about their roles below (as well as a few favourite songs and fun facts).
The Team
Station Manager
Beatrice Lancet
Studies: BA English Literature
As Station Manager, I am responsible for the smooth running of the station. I organise and co-ordinate the committee, and a team of great presenters as well as planning show scheduling. I oversee playlisting, original new features and projects to shape the station's sound.
Fun fact
I have hosted and produced the new music show UP 'N COMING for three years, scouting the most exciting independent music from around the UK and interviewing artists and tastemakers.
Deputy Station Manager
Louis Wright
Studies: MA Film & Television: Research & Production
Deputy Station Manager involves a lot of people management (and I mean A LOT). Show hosts who are a little rowdy or committee being little stinkers and not doing their job? I'm there with a stern look on my face and a raised eyebrow to put them in check. Keep them in line as the kids these days say.
Fun fact
I once got intercepted by David Hasselhoff's entourage as I was trying to get him to sign my copy of the Spongebob Squarepants movie on DVD.

As head of tech I'm responsible for the smooth operation of all broadcast / recording technology, this involves the main radio studio, the podcasting equipment, song ingesting studio, and the website. As a department we have to switch out old cables, and come to the rescue of committee/members in tech peril, but we've taken on a few bigger challenges, such as migrating to a new broadcast system, and redesigning the website.
